GITIS held a soiree of Senegalese drama
Opening the evening, GITIS rector Grigory Zaslavski and professor Maksim Valukin who have recently visited Senegal, talked about the cooperation of the two countries in education and culture.
The first advisor of the ambassador of Senegal in Russia Ndiaga Beye and the secretary general of “Kalinka” the Russian cultural centre in Senegal Oumy Sene and other guests honoured the event with their presence.
The “GITIS” publishing house presented its new book “The African political drama”. Students of the directing faculty showed sketches from two plays, students of the acting faculty read national poetry, students of the faculty of the musical theatre performed a few opera arias in French.
