On June 19, in London GITIS principal Grigory Zaslavsky, dean of the Faculty of Acting Lucy Skilbeck and director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art Edward Kemp took part in the negotiations.
British colleagues expressed interest in the GITIS international projects. They stated willingness to take part in the Stanislavsky. The Beginning festival and send the winner of their fencing competition as a guest to the GITIS Silver Sword fencing competition.
During the meeting, was agreed to continue the negotiations and participate in each other’s international projects, in particular, to exchange the master classes of the leading teachers of the two schools.
The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) is one of the world’s oldest theatrical schools. It was founded in 1904 and is considered one of the best in the world; among its graduates — Anthony Hopkins, Ralph Fiennes, Tom Hiddleston, Alan Rickman and many other stars of British and Hollywood movies.
We thank GITIS graduate Alesya Mankovskaya for the help in the organization and carrying out of negotiations.
