For ten days GITIS professors ran trainings and workshops for professional actors and theater teachers from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Students from the class of Alexander Barmak also joined this summer school. Its program was quite diverse and included a lot of classes on acting, stage speech and stage movement. The classes were held outdoors on the shore of Issyk-Kul lake. Participants of the summer school have learnt new acting skills and techniques to later share them with their students and colleagues.
GITIS Summer School at Issyk-Kul lake was organized thanks to the support of Presidential Grants Fund and Theater Education & Development Fund. It was also supported by humanitarian project of Ivan Polyakov and a member of GITIS Board of Trustees.
