This Winter School will also include trips to Lake Borovoe and Abylai Khan Glade, Kenesary Cave, rocks Okzhetpes and Zhumbataks, lakes Shchuchye and Tekekol, and the city of Astana.
“This Winter School is not about endless bragging about our achievements. We focus here on creating strong partnerships with our partners — the Kazakh National University of Arts and the Kazakh National Academy of Arts. The goal of this School is not only to share valuable knowledge on theater education but also to establish strong connections with other students and professors. Some of the theater schools and theaters in Kazakhstan were built in Soviet times. GITIS professors have directly participated in this process, and we are proud of that. Today some theaters and universities are still led by GITIS graduates”, -commented GITIS Rector Grigory Zaslavsky.
The GITIS Winter School in Kazakhstan will be held within the framework of the Priority 2030 Strategic Academic Leadership Program and with the support of the “Russian World” Foundation. The media partner of the event is TV BRICS.
