A member of the Union of Theatre Workers and the Union of Cinematographers of Russia
As a stage movement director and stunt fights coordinator, he worked on performances at the Russian Academic Youth Theatre, the Maxim Gorky Moscow Art Academic Theatre, the Mossovet Theatre, Moscow’s Maly Theatre, the Moscow Operetta State Academic Theatre, the Russian Army Theatre, the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre.
As a stunt performer and stunt coordinator, he took part in over 50 films, including The Barber of Siberia (directed by Nikita Mikhalkov, 1998), The Secrets of Palace Revolutions (directed by Svetlana Druzhinina, 2001), Burnt by the Sun 2 (directed by Nikita Mikhalkov, 2011), Day Watch (directed by Timur Bekmambetov, 2005), Tsar (directed by Pavel Lungin, 2009).
Aydar Zakirov conducts workshops, test classes, seminars not only in Russia but abroad too (Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Bulgaria, Lebanon, and Japan).
