He teaches Composition of scenic space and Composition basics disciplines.
In 1962 graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute.
From 1962 to 1991, working as an art director in the literary and dramatic editorial board of the central television, he participated in the creation of more than 150 TV performances. He has been working with the leading directors of Moscow, such as A. Efros, R. Viktyuk, P. Fomenko, M. Kozakov, B. Morozov. Since 1992 he has been teaching Stage Design in GITIS. Since 1995 he works as a stage designer in the Moscow theaters: Mayakovsky Thaetre, Vakhtangov Theater, Malaya Bronnaya Theater, Yermolova Theatre.
He worked as a stage designer in Austria, Czech Republic, France, Belgium.
He was awarded the medal For outstanding contribution to the national culture.
