Professor, People’s Artist of the USSR. She was awarded the Order For Merit to the Fatherland of the IV class.
In 1964 she graduated from the musical college affiliated with the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. In 1970 she graduated from GITIS (D. Belyavskaya’s course). From 1964 to 2002 — solo singer of the Bolshoi Theater.
In 1968, Tamara Sinyavskaya received the gold medal of the 9th International Festival of Youth and Students in Sofia (Bulgaria). In 1969, she won the Grand Prix and the Gold Medal of the XII International Vocal Competition in Verviers (Belgium). She toured extensively, successfully performed both with solo concerts and in the performances of opera theaters in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, USA, Japan, and Australia.
Since 2010, he heads the Magomayev International Vocal Competition.
