The exhibition “Stanislavsky — Actor,” dedicated to the art of acting and the pioneering work of Moscow Art Theatre co-founder Konstantin Stanislavsky, opened at the Russian House in Chile.
The exhibition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Moscow Art Theatre Museum’s founding and of Stanislavsky’s 160th anniversary. It highlights Stanislavsky’s early works in the amateur theatre, followed by the roles with the Moscow Society of Art and Literature, his groundbreaking work at the Moscow Art Theatre, and his touring performances.
Eva Lobanova, a third-year theatre studies student under N. Shalimova, guided the tour. Organized by GITIS, the Moscow Art Theatre Museum, and the Russian House in Chile, the exhibition is part of the GITIS project “Russian Theatre School in Chile.”
