The third GITIS Summer school took place in Kyrgyzstan, at the resort on the shores of the unique lake Issyk Kul. For ten days our teachers were leading training on acting, stage movement and speech for students of the Theatre college of the T. Abdumomunov National academic drama theatre (Kyrgyzstan) and T. Zhurgenov National Academy of Arts (Kazakhstan). Kazakhstan was the guest of the program this year.
Workshops were taught by the head of the stage movement department professor Aydar Zakirov, senior teacher of the stage speech department Larisa Kaydalova, and senior teacher of the acting art department Tatiana Morozova. Students of the GITIS directing faculty (class of E. Kamenkovich) also participated in training.
GITIS Summer school in Kyrgyzstan is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the President’s grants Fund, the Theater Education Endowment fund, and the A. Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
